With only 1,138 Instagram followers and averaging just 6 new followers per month, their online growth had flatlined. They had never explored video content, had no presence on TikTok, and were reaching fewer than 2,700 people each month. They knew they needed to change but didn’t know where to start.
Home Away Coffee came to Upsocial looking for a complete social media transformation — a strategy that would bring their in-store energy to life online and put them in front of the audiences that mattered most.

We shifted the entire content approach from static photos to dynamic, scroll-stopping video content. Short-form Reels and TikToks showcasing latte art, behind-the-bar moments, and customer experiences became the foundation of a consistent posting calendar.
Beyond content creation, we launched Home Away Coffee on TikTok — a platform they’d never touched — opening up an entirely new audience pipeline. Combined with a data-driven Instagram strategy optimized for reach and engagement, we built a content engine designed for compounding growth.
